Late in the second quarter of the Warriors’ game Wednesday night against the Clippers, Kevin Durant hit a 22-foot jumper to become the second-youngest player in NBA history to reach the 20,000-point club.

Durant needed only 16 minutes and 10 shots to score 25 first-half points, his most in a half this season, and become the 44th player to reach the 20,000-point milestone.

LeBron James, who scored his 20,000th point at 28 years, 17 days, is the only player to reach that club younger than Durant, who did so when he was 29 years, 103 days.

Durant is the fifth player to score that many points before his 30th birthday, joining James, Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan.
