9. Jamal Crawford

It feels hard to believe that Jamal Crawford has been around the NBA since 2000, doesn’t it? Crawford has had an interesting career though, looking like a borderline all-star who could never quite put it all together before finally settling in as one of the league’s consistently great bench players. It’s in this role that he’s really thrived, and is still producing at a high level despite now being in his mid-30’s. Crawford’s late rebirth as a valuable bench commodity started about five or six years ago, when he was named the Sixth Man of the Year Award for the 2009-10 season with the Atlanta Hawks.
He won the award again two years ago with his current team, the Los Angeles Clippers and doesn’t appear to be done anytime soon. Whether he keeps contributing off the bench for LA, or he finds a new home in a different city, Jamal will likely keep giving his team that instant offense and undeniable spark for another 3 or 4 years before he calls it quits. It’s gonna be weird without J-Crossover in the NBA, let’s all enjoy it when he is still here.
