Before Lamar Odom sold his soul to the devil and married a Kardashian, he was one hell of a basketball player with the Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat. After averaging 14 PPG and 8 rebounds per contest for half of a decade, Lamar found himself in LA, this time with the Lakers. From 2004-2008, Lamar Odom found himself on a terrible Lakers team, and while he was a serviceable starter, he didn’t really find his perfect role in the NBA until Pau Gasol came to town and Odom was moved to the bench.
From then, Lamar would be one of the greatest bench players we have ever seen, providing the Lakers with size, speed, versatility and experience off the bench. In 2010-2011, Lamar Odom would even win himself the Sixth Man of the Year award averaging 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. He was a key part in the back-to-back championship teams with Kobe and Pau coming off the bench killing every opponents second unit and finishing games like an All-Star.
